Kid Gets Detention for Sharing His Lunch at School

                                                                     A 13-year-old kid ended up with a detention slip at school for the heinous crime of sharing his chicken burrito with a pal. As KRCR-TV reports, Kyle Bradford of Weaverville Elementary in California shared his school-bought lunch with a friend because the other kid wasn’t crazy about his own cheese sandwich. That’s a no-no in the eyes of school officials worried about allergies and lawsuits. “Of course if students are concerned about other students not having enough to eat we would definitely want to consider that,” says the local school superintendent, “but because of safety and liability we cannot allow students to actually exchange meals.”
